It sounds as though you're having issues signing in to your Apple ID on your Apple TV or the Apple TV app on one of your devices. To confirm, are you following the steps listed below when attempting to sign in to your Apple ID on the Apple TV? If not, follow the steps outlined there. You can also find these steps in the following article, along with steps on how to sign in via another device.
"Sign in on Apple TV
- From the Home screen, choose Settings.
- Then choose Users and Accounts and select Add New User…
- Select Enter New…, then follow the on screen instructions."
If you're following the steps outlined in that article, are you getting any error message? If so, are you prompted that the password is incorrect?
