Stabilization Doesn't Work on Vertical Footage.

Is anyone else experiencing this. When I'm working with a vertical timeline and vertically filmed footage, none of the stabilization methods work at all. In fact, it makes the footage worse than before.

I've read some other have also experienced this, but i can't find a solution.

I've also had the stabilization work with proxy footage but as soon as I switch to optimized, it doesn't work any longer.
