Monterey 12.5.1 update issue

After updating my MacBook Pro to Monterey 12.5.1 I cannot print or scan via wifi to my HP Laserjet 100 color MFP M175nw. I had this problem a year or so ago with another Apple update. The HP site doesn't have any drivers available. I need help.

I have the same problem with my Canon mg6850 series printer. New printer drivers are available, but that did not fix the problem, or at least only partially. Before, there was no print at all on the page. Now I’m getting something, but broken up text and missing text.

So I don’t know what the answer is.. but upgrading the printer driver isn’t it!

it looks like there is a glitch in the Monterey 12.5.1 update. I hope Apple can fix it soon!

I have experienced same problem on my desktop iMAC after updating to 12.5.1. Usually the first time I try to scan a document it fails. When I reinsert a document into the HP printer/scanner the scan works and maybe will work for another document scanned immediately afterwards, but then fails when an additional document is inserted. The iMac is automatically sending a diagnostic report to Apple. Anyone found a solution to this or do we need to wait for Apple to issue an update.

Done that at least three times over, and same with printer .. I don’t think the laptop is communicating correctly with the printer.. it seems like a glitch in the Monterey 12.5.1 update

No issues with my HP printer since updating to Monterey 12.5.1 here. Since you do have an issue, I'd contact your printer manufacturer to see if they're aware of any issues with 12.5.1.
