Battery issues for macbook air

My new macbook air is plugged in but won"t charge. It remains at 1%. I tried different power outlets, removing dock and using adapter directly from mac to power outlet. I'm using 30W adapter supplied with mac book when purchased.

My i phone and i pad work fine and charge perfectly and are much older. Mac says battery condition is normal with 100% capacity.

I used this equipment in Canada without problems and have been in Costa Rica for a week. First time i used it in a week. Internet and everything else is fine. How do i bring my battery back to charge ???

I understand your new MacBook Air's battery refuses to charge.

Refer to If your Mac battery won't charge - Apple Support. The only action you can take is to restart the Mac, after which you will need to have Apple evaluate it: Find how to service or repair your Mac.
