does the american 67 watt magsafe charger compatible with the 220 voltage european standard

i am getting the new macbook air alongside the bew magsafe 67 watt charger, the charger is american where they use 110 voltage standard but as i live by the european standard, i worry about plugging in the mac to too more voltage then the charger can handle, and burn my mac out. if anyone has any information i can rely on it would be appreciated.

Yes, the Power adapter accepts 50 or 60 Hz and 120 or 240 Volts input.


This is also printed on the power adapter (in microscopic gray ink).

purchasing a local AC power 'extension cord' is the simplest way to use it:
