Is there currently an issue with downloading Safari 15.6.1 for Big Sur?
iMac 21.5″, macOS 11.6
No issue at all! I did this Safari update yesterday...very fast and no problems at all (I´m running Big Sur 11.6.8 on an iMac). If you also have an iPhone I´d recommend also doing the update to iOS 15.6.1. There´s been a lot in the media about possibly serious security leaks in iOS...make of it what you will! Cheers, Ian.
Thanks for the response Guys. I was able to download the new Safari Security update on my iPhone and my iPad quickly and without any issues. However, when I attempted to do the same with my Mac I could not pull up the update. I eventually turned off my "Automatic Updates", restarted my computer and was able to see and download the update. Running a 2014 1.4GHz-Dual Core Intel i5. Assume that may have been my problem.
There shouldn't be. It should be in System Preferences > Software Update.
I updated the lates Big Sur and now my Safari doesn't work just spins should of never updated.
