Why do I receive calls on airplane mode?

Hi I turned on the airplane mode but have connected to WiFi.

how come I still receive calls? I’m not joking!

My phone is iPhone 13 pro max.

Because you have enabled WiFi calling, which allows you to place and receive calls when connected to WiFi and no cellular signal is available.

I just figure out where to turn off the WiFi calling!
