Safari tabs in iOS 15.6.1

Is there a way to change the layout of Safari tabs back to “stacked” view in ios15.6.1?

Hello, I recently updated my iPad to 16.2 and was wondering how to hide the tab bar in safari. before I updated my iPad, I had hide tab bar enabled and was working perfectly but now I can’t find the option to hide the tab bar in settings anymore. Hide tab bar in Safari on iPad How do you hide the tab bar in Safari on iPad when there’s no longer a SHOW TAB BAR button in Safari settings? Since I updated to IOS16.4.1, the settings for Safari tabs on my iPhone and iPad are different. I can remove the tabs on iPhone but not on IPad.

when is ios safari going to get an elevator slider in tabs? I save many, many tabs and it would be huge to be able to slide through them like other applications.
