How do I change router to use WPA2 or WPA3
Your Apple router would have been set to WPA2 Personal by default when it was set up originally, so unless you have changed the setting on your router and lowered the security setting, it already set up to use the highest security level that it can.
To check your Apple base station.......
Open AirPort Utility on your Mac (Finder > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility)
Click on the base station to select it, then click Edit in the smaller window that appears
Click the Wireless tab at the top of the next window
Check the setting for Wireless Security
If you are asking about an Apple router, these products do not have the capability to to use WPA3 security. The best that you can do is WPA2 Personal, which is the same thing as WPA2 (AES).

Again, are you talking about an Apple AirPort base station (router)?
If so, you would do so with the AirPort Utility from either an iOS device or a Mac. Which one will you be using?
