when adding a family member to family sharing - it will not accept the CVV code

I am having trouble with the Parental Consent confirmation to add a member to the family, it is asking for a verification code associated with the credit card (which is sent), I have entered that and get an error, also the field of entry says "CVV" and I enter that into the form and it gives an error "Incorrect Code" yet it's correct. 1) which is actually supposed to go in the field, the 6 digit code sent to the device 2) the CVV code associated with the CC?

also any ideas on how to get past the error messages?
