Stolen apple ID
Someone has co-opted my email address (which was not previously used as an apple ID) to set up a new apple ID in my name. I still have access to the email, and have been receiving emails from apple about changes to my security questions/phone number/Find My/etc. As the email was set up by someone else without my knowledge, I have never had access to it. I have changed the password to the email itself (a gmail account), but I am unable to access the apple ID. Ultimately I would like to deactivate the apple ID, as it is using my name and email. I have been unable to turn off two-factor authentication as I do not know the phone number associated with the account (***** ****03) or have access to it. The birthdate associated with the apple ID is associated with the email being used, but I am unable to move past the following security questions:
你的理想工作是什么?
你的父母是在哪里认识的?
Translate tells me roughly what the questions are (What is your ideal job? Where did your parents meet?), but I have no idea how to answer them. It appears as if at least one other individual has experienced something similar, so I'm hoping someone will have some sort of information that can help me while I wait for apple support to address the issue from their end!
