Get rid of split screen on iPads?

The inability to disable the multitasking split screen feature on iPads using iOS 15 is TERRIBLE. Previously we could disable it. Now I’m stuck with closing out windows I never wanted because the iOS update forced this ridiculous, unnecessary, maddening feature on us.

Please fix this! No, seriously, it was a terrible idea. FIX IT.

Unlike iPadOS14 and earlier versions, multi-tasking cannot now be disabled from settings. Multi-tasking has received a significant overhaul, both simplifying its use and introducing new controls.

Key to accessing (or avoiding) and controlling multi-tasking is the small “three-dot” button that is found at the top-centre edge of the screen.

We are all just Apple product users here. No one here can fix anything that Apple does.

As long as you do not touch the three dots at the top of your iPad's screen, split screen or slide over view should NOT ever work.

No need to disable muktitasking as long as you do not tap any of those three dots at the top center of the iPad’s screen.

Best of Luck to You!
