Can’t connect to wifi after I erase all content and restart

I am trying to reset my Mac and have gotten through all the steps except connecting it to wifi when it restarts.. I am not seeing the wifi icon in the top right corner. Has anyone else had this problem?

The Wifi Icon when booting in Recovery Mode is often time In the Lower Right of the screen ( if memory is correct ).

To avoid this tricky Manual Input of Wifi Password - suggest using an Ethernet Cable to the Router.

The connect should be automatic and give a better and more stable Internet Speed for this purpose.
