HomePod Mini making a call on its own doesn’t stop ringing

I saw a post from 2019 of someone else having the same issue. Now I experienced my HomePod Mini in my daughters room making a call when no one’s devices were attempting to. Really odd, didn’t like that. Anyone else having the issue?

Why did my homepod make a phone call without my phone? To be completely honest, I was watching Thor and I suddenly heard a ringing coming from my homepod. It was like an outgoing phone call to someone I have no idea would be on the other line. Once I realized it was my homepod, I unplugged the device. What could this mean and why is this happening? I am concerned about my privacy like everyone who buys Apple products. I checked every device in the house to see if there was an outgoing call but none was found. If someone is able to give me insight on why it did that and who it was to, it would be amazing. I care about the people around me and if people are listening through the homepod, that's a concern to me. I will not be plugging it back in until I find out more information on who it was calling. Please help.

HomePod mini I arrived to my office this morning hearing the sound of a phone ringing. It's my HomePod mini. Nothing was connected to it. I tapped the top and it suggested a radio station for me. I listened to music, but all the while and even still the ringing hasn't stopped. Is this an indicator that a call is going out? Or is it an error sound of some sort?

It’s possible if a tv was on it mistakingly thought it heard hey say call xxx. Mine actually did this yesterday, except it was me asking my phone to make the call. Or my HomePod might randomly answer a question I never asked - if the tv was on.
