Declined for Apples Credit Card

Silly Apple. They could have done well from my business. I decided to no longer use my Debit card for Visa/MasterCard transactions (on the advice of Frank Abagnale). Credit Score of 713 yet Apple declined me card application. I have Zero debt (Yes, ZERO). Bad debt better than no dept? What a bunch of Bull! Why is it that if you dont have debt and a good credit score that they wont even give you a card with a $500 limit and at least give you the chance to increase the limit with them by getting a good payment history with that card? Makes no sense to me.

What do you mean? I have no Technical issue. Apple said that the reason why the declined me was 'not enough credit history'. Yet my credit Score was 713..... The last and only loan payment I had was a mortgage on a home that I sold back in March 2022 (I didn't buy another home). I own everything else (car etc.) outright. My question was:

Goldman Sachs Bank declined your credit request, not Apple. Goldman Sachs is the issuer and processor for the Apple Card. Call them for further information as to why you were declined. And your credit score is only one of many factors used to determine creditworthiness. Having zero debt is not necessarily a good thing in the yes of lenders who want to make money off of revolving credit interest.
