why does my iphone xr keep freezing

within 5 seconds of being on the phone it starts to freeze and then the loading screen apears but is not moving its frozen, i looked on line and they said it was due to storage but i can even put my password into the phone to delete some stuff bcause it keeps on freezing and turning off
