Apple Watch nightstand mode

Hi,

I am sure that this question has been asked before but what is the point of having nightstand mode without the simple functionality of being ALWAYS ON? I have an Apple Watch 7 which has the always on capability so why is it not an option to have the display always on when charging and in nightstand mode?? It just seems ridiculous.

At least give the option of allowing a user to toggle this feature On/off according to their preference. Thanks

While Apple forces this dimming "to save battery life" it also forces me to not be able to use my watch at night, so I don't care about extended battery life when I can't use the watch. I'd suggest that by forcing this feature instead of allowing users to toggle between useable bright screen at night or power saving dimness, Apple is creating an accessibility issue for people with poor night vision. Allowing this feature to be toggled on or off can't be difficult to do and would provide those with a visual handicap to make a choice - to use my watch at night or to leave it behind "saving a battery". Come on Apple, THINK!

Allow Apple watch stopwatch display to stay on! Honestly maying $1200 for the Apple Watch Ultra and not being able to use it as a normal stopwatch which you can do with any $5 digital watch Is really frustrating. for many exercises you need to hold a position for say 15 or 190 seconds. I should be able to see the seconds once the screen goes into dark mode! Why does it only show the minutes?

I have a new Apple Watch 9.0.2. I can't seem to keep the display from going to sleep. I don't seem to have the "always on" feature on my watch. It's annoying to have to do some thing to keep waking it up. How can I keep it on continuously? I have a new (Fall 2022) Apple Watch 9.0.2. SE. I can't seem to keep the display from going to sleep.
