Are there any plans to offer extra small Airpod Pro tips?

They don't sell the original AirPods, but did until a week ago, and do still sell replacement ear tips for them.

You are right, they probably won't sell XS ear tips for the OG AirPods, but doing so would likely not require significant effort/tooling, and they need to be aware there is a market. (understanding of course no one at Apple ever reads their community forum).

Beyond that a single word negative response to a forum user with a legitimate need isn't helpful. Some indication of the unlikeliness, with some additional advice would be more in line with a user to user help platform. Recognition that Gen 2 tips, XS specifically, do physically fit on OG AirPods, with the caveat that Apple says the audio quality could be compromised would be helpful to many it seems. This question is not unique on the forum. It only costs $8 to find out if audio 'compromise' is at an acceptable level to get a better, more comfortable, fit. That's less than an Apple lightning to 3.5mm headphone adaptor. Maybe personal experience could be included, user to user. To that end, my wife hasn't noted any audio quality issues with a 2nd Gen XS tip on her OG AirPods. YMMV, as they say.

Is that the official Apple response? If so, some will just resort to using the XS ear tips on the 1st Gen AirPods. The comfort difference can be significant enough to 'risk' the indicated reduction in audio quality noted in the support document. The alternative, of course is to use a third party ear tip. It is unlikely these would have the same attention to detail that necessitates different mesh densities, as Apple ear tips provide. If you have the 1st gen AirPods, and the Small ear tips still seem a little big for you, you can get 2nd gen XS ones for $8 and give them a shot, for fit and audio quality. They physically fit the AirPods just fine.
