why for my airpods pro does not have a mark as lost feature in findMy app?

I cannot mark my aripods pro as stolen in findmy app. I just simply do not have that menu item. I also paired my airpods pro to my friends phone who also have an airpods pro. I can confirm, that his airpods pro has lost mode mine doesnot. both airpods are identical.

Hi zoltan1984

Welcome to the Apple Community. (We are all Apple users, like yourself.)

Sorry you are having a difficulty with "Mark as Lost" for your AirPods.

In Apple Support's article:

Find your lost AirPods - Apple Support

says:" If you didn't turn on Find My before your AirPods went missing, you can't use Find My to locate them".

You can scroll down the article to see how to: "Turn on Lost Mode for your AirPods"

(says: AirPods (3rd generation), AirPods Pro, or AirPods Max)

All the best :-)
