My child has an children's apple ID (ie under 13) which is part of my family sharing.
I am trying to set up a second hand iPod for them, however they can't remember their apple ID password. Could anyone help with how I go about changing the passcode please?
If they forgot the Apple ID (iCloud) password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if they can get a Rescue or Notification email option if necessary. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.
If they have 2 Factor Authentication enabled, if they can't recover the password using the steps above, they will need to use Account Recovery.
