Safari search history, not there.

The drop down menu in Safari on my MacBook Silicon has Clear History but no History. How to I access search History?

How do I delete this post? I see History now. It is not under Safari. Sorry, I am coming from 32 years MS OS versions.

in macOS Ventura Safari search history doesn't appear in the drop down menu Up until recently my search history always appeared in the "History" drop down menu in Safari. Recently the history stopped appearing. I can only see my history by selecting "Show All History". How can I correct this? Safari history no longer visible in menu bar dropdown Safari on Mac used to have a handy selectable list of recent sites visited just by clicking on History in the menu bar. This is no longer there. The only way to view history is to select "Show All History" or press Command-Y. While these are useful, they are not as handy for immediate use as the former dropdown right from the menu bar. Is this a bug, a feature deliberately removed, or a setting of mine that's accidentally gotten changed? Not sure, but I wish I had it back. (I'm running Ventura 13.3.1.)

How to delete or clear “recently closed” list from Safari after clearing history on Mac ? After clearing my history, the “recently closed” list is still showing, guess what, all the tabs I recently closed which kinda defeats the purpose of clearing my history. Does anyone know how to clear this list?
