Hey, I was trying to copy a file path in Finder, but I accidentally dragged Macintosh HD into a doc folder. I dragged it out into the sidebar, but it's still in the doc folder. Any ideas for getting it out?
Pulling it into the trash seems like a bad idea.

If you created an icon in the Dock, control-click it, choose Options, and then Remove from Dock.
If you created a Finder alias, throw it away. This won't affect the original.
