My iPad connects to Wi-Fi and I get fast access to the Internet. My iPhone is connected to the same WiFi network, but won’t connect to the Internet or to apps. It times out.

Mi iPad and IPhone are connected to the same WiFi network. Everything is working normally on my iPad with no problems using my apps, or with connecting to Safari. I can’t access any of that on my iPhone unless I turn off the Wi-Fi. This also happens at work on their network. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this? Thanks!

(1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

(2)  If the above does not work then - Reset the Network Settings on your iPhone. Open Settings ➡️ Transfer or Reset iPhone ➡️ Reset ➡️ Reset Network Settings: Note that you will have to re-enter all Wi-Fi passwords once again after performing this action.
