what do I do if this didn't work and the Mac can't find the files on my renamed home folder please help I am so tired, frustrated, and sad. I already lost 3 years of work trying to switch over to Mac I feel stupid and incompetent I need help because I keep messing up my computers and it costs me so much of my mental health. Please Help me

If you didn't exactly, that's still okay, but just a few questions:
Do you keep a Time Machine backup? Or have sufficient data in iCloud??
What do you see in these two locations?:
System Preferences > Users and Groups.
Finder > Go > Macintosh HD > Users.
And also, what to you see after right clicking on each user in Users and Groups > Advanced Options? (You may need to first click the lock on the bottom to make changes).
