Can anyone tell me why does my text thread vanish all besides 2 text from the thread

Go to Settings/Messages/Keep Messages and review the setting.

When I reply to a specific text message in a thread, once I hit send, then my screen locks and I can't get back to the full thread. Is this a bug? How do I get back to the full text thread after I reply to one specific text of the full thread?

iMessages lagging recently I have noticed that my iMessages is really lagging with showing me texts. I have along text chain thread that has multiple replies. When I open the thread to reply and send my message, the previous replied messages keep going away and I have to get of the reply thread and get back on it. Is this a bug issue or does anyone know how I could fix this??
