how do i completely delete mcafee off my macbook

my brother downloaded this extension for me but I hate it. i deleted it off my finder in the apps and a bunch of weird and unnecessary folders on my MacBook and its still in the top bar. every google search just leaves my question unanswered and me frustrated. im considering completely restarting my computer now because I hate it so much. someone please help!
