Using CarPlay without SIRI

After the last update on my Explorer ST, CarPlay now demands I turn on SIRI to access the apps from my phone on the explorer screen.

how do I fix this?

I would like to continue to use CarPlay without using SIRI. What is the proper way to get my phone apps to start working again, without turning on SIRI?

We're happy to provide some information. Turning Siri on is a requirement for CarPlay to work.

Set up CarPlay

1. Start your car, then make sure that Siri is on.

2. Connect your iPhone to your car
