Imac migration
After migrating from an old Imac to a 2019 model I can't find my files on the Mcintosh HD icon on my computer

When using Migration Assistant it is very important to carefully read and follow the instructions. At one point you were asked whether to transfer the files. You apparently failed to check the box, therefore no files were transferred. Incidentally, it is all files or no files. We are not able to select certain files to be transferred.
