best replacement for itunes

Hi everyone,

I've just moved over from an iMac desktop to an Apple Mini.

The old iMac was Mojave and the new Mini is Monterey.

I restored my data from a Time Machine backup.

Currently I'm watching a very very long restoration of my photos library!

When that's done, I want to sort out my music collection (about 7000 tracks).

I'm not worried about the music, I found the library file intact in the backup but

there's no iTunes on Monterey, I'm not a fan of Apple Music, so I'm looking for

a good replacement for iTunes that will accept the importation of the iTunes library file.

I'd be very grateful for any advice on this.

Many thanks and best wishes to all!

The Music app provided with Monterey can open and convert your iTunes Library.itl file. I'm not aware of any competing product that does this. The Music interface is pretty similar to iTunes although there are differences. You don't have to subscribe to the Apple Music service.
