Final Cut Pro timeline grey boxes

Hello,

I have somehow managed to create a grey box at the beginning of a project timeline.

I wish to delete it ... I don't know why it's there or what it's doing.

Unfortunately, it is attached to an audio clip I wish to keep.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hello, I am a final cut user too and I’ll be happy to help. Move your audio clip under another audio clip or a video clip. Make sure it is 100% under the clip and no part of it is outside then delete the the gray spot then move the audio clip to the original location. I use this all the time and it helps me in my videos. I hoped i solved your problem. Please press the “helpful” or “best answer” buttons because it really helps me out!
