Can you update an iPad Air A1474 to iOS 15.

I am trying to download the Audible app to an iPad Air (early 2014j but getting message stating that it requires iOS 15.0 or later. iPad states that operating system is up to date on version 12.5.5. Can I upgrade to iOS 15 and if so, how? Many thanks

This model iPad Air, released by Apple in 2013, cannot be updated beyond iOS 12.5.5.
