All my data is missing on my iPhone

I backed up my phone to iCloud (it took 1hr or so).

Then wiped my phone to setup as new. When I connected to icloud, for sync of content.

All my data was missing (photos) , contacts, etc...

Is there anyway to restore, recover the data pre-wipe. Or from iCloud backup?
