Why is Apple connecting my id to my use of Apple Maps?
Seems they should have to disclose that, “APPLE IS TRACKING APPLE MAPS USERS WITHOUT THEIR KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT.”
Apple should follow its own App Store rules and have to disclose why it is tracking users, and what they do with that information.

So, Why is Apple forcing me to be logged into Apple Maps?
This reminds me of Facebook, Google, and even Microsoft of the past.
I don’t want to be tracked, forced to log in, or have any of my information online WITHOUT MY EXPLICIT KNOWLEDGE AND APPROVAL.
Privacy is what Apple is pushing right now; they need to look in the mirror.
Apple does not track your location.
If you want to use Apple Services, you log into Apple Services. If you are truly concerned about being tracked, you should be far more concerned about your cellular provider who tracks your every move. And if this is truly concerning to you, you should buy a flip phone, which is not smart at all.
Your Apple ID is tied to the use of any app you use. But your paranoia is showing and Apple is NOT tracking your location.
You are making ridiculous statements based on no understanding of how anything works.
