Watch not showing in wifi calling list as option

Fully updated os for Apple Watch SE, updated iPhone se v2, and iPad mini in place. Tried to set up Wi-Fi calling for all devices, but only the iPad show in the list for Wi-Fi calling. The Apple Watch shows in iCloud as a known device, but still not in the list under Phone settings/ Allow calls on other devices. Any idea how to get the watch to show as an available device? Thanks to anyone and everyone for ideas.
