Corrupt Volume

I'm on a MacBook Pro, Monterey. I tried fixing the corrupt volume in Recovery Mode using Disk Utility, but it didn't repair it . Any suggestions?

My apologies. I hadn't run that procedure since upgrading to Catalina and evidently the commands have changed. I just tired it myself and the text on the screen appeared to be around 4 font size and I could'n't read any of it. With the help of a magnifying glass I entered the first command and hit return. It gave me an error message in the command. So I tried the second comment re reboot and got the same message that you did.

I'll have to do some research into the fsck command for Monterey. Sorry about that.

At a loss at this point as to what to try.

To run fsck on the drive do the following:

1 - Boot into single user mode by holding down the Command + S keys

2 - Enter the following command followed by Enter or Return key:

/sbin/fsck -fy

3 - If repairs are made and reported repeat the command until there are no additional repairs made.

4 - To reboot back into normal mode enter the following command:

/sbin/mount -uw
