How can my Apple Watch still be visible on “Find my device”?

My Apple Watch was lost or stolen over a week ago. There is a good chance it is lost in my house, but there is a possibility that it was stolen.

It is still showing up on “Fine my”, even though I am positive the battery would be dead long ago! How is this possible? Is it possible that “find my” is actually tracking the Apple Watch app on my phone? That would make a lot more sense.

Is there a way to actually track it in the house? Last night when I was moving around, Find My shows my air pods moving around, even though I actually only had my phone with me. Also weird.

I hope you can help!

The last known location is only shown in the findmy app for 24 hours.
