How do I update to iOS 14.o in order to download an app

Updating it will install 15.6. It's no longer possible to update to exactly 14.0.

My issue is there are some certain app I ain’t able to download from my App Store it will be showing me this application requires iOS 14.0 or later. I don’t know how to update it so I can download whatever app I want I’m using an iPhone 8plus though
