Return MacBook Pro with Apple Card monthly installments

Hi,

I recently bought a Macbook Pro financed with monthly payments from my Apple Card (Credit Limit $3000). I intend to return my Macbook to exchange it for one with a higher spec. I am still within the 14-day purchase window.

Can I buy the new Macbook with my Apple Card again? I am assuming that the amount would be refunded instantly and I can use the Apple Credit Card again to make a purchase within a few days.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Refunds are never instant as they can take up to 30 days. Once the refunds has been applied you should be free to purchase the upgraded device you desire.

If your refund is approved, the funds are applied to the same payment method that you used to buy the item. Here's how long it takes for a refund to appear on your account or statement:

Store credit—It might take up to 48 hours to see the refund in your Apple ID balance.

Mobile phone billing—It might take up to 60 days for the statement to show the refund. Processing time might be affected by your carrier. You can contact your carrier for an update.

All other payment methods—It might take up to 30 days for the statement to show the refund. If you don't see the refund after 30 days, contact your financial institution.
