Apple cash was permanently restricted by Green Dot with no explanation

I was using apple cash fine, then one day it said verify identity. After several tries, I verified my identity. The next day my account was restricted. Now after speaking with Green Dot my account is permanently closed and they have no explanation. I can use apple pay without a problem.
