I received my laptop over 60 days after placing the order. Can I still get apple care and how long do I have?

I placed my order in May and my MacBook didn’t arrive until August. Can I still buy apple care?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.3

I believe the 60 days starts when it was shipped, not when it was ordered. If the other methods don't work, use the phone number in the following from AppleCare Products - Mac - Apple

How to buy

  1. Purchase AppleCare+ with your new Mac.
  2. Or buy it within 60 days of your Mac purchase:
    • On your device (go to  > About This Mac > Support)
    • Online (requires you to verify your serial number)
    • At an Apple Store (inspection of Mac and proof of purchase are required)
    • By calling 800-275-2273
