HomeKit live stream interrupted by VPN App

Hello together,

I am using the Proton VPN App in a paid subscription plan and experience issues with the livestream of my camera. Anyways the short preview pane can get an imagine every 10 seconds or so and is up to date. As soon as I disconnect, I have no issues. Setting to access local LAN in the app is granted.

steps tested:

connected without VPN - no issue

stitched protocols (openVPN, wireguard, IKeV2k issue persists

used a P2P server - issues persist

connected to my private VPN server - no issues

is there enyone else having this exact camera feed issue with proton and if so could it be solved?
