I have done everything that has been told to do when my iphone and macbook photos are not syncing. I'm frustrated

Why isn't my iphone syncing to my MacBook Pro. I have checked and the internet is on for both devices. The Icloud photos is on both. It is totally crazy. I'm at a loss what to do before taking it to the apple

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.5

Check in preferences that your library is set as the system library. Also you need plenty of free space in icloud and on your mac.

I have had that same problem. I shut my MacBook down and then I came back in an hour and everything worked. Try this if doesn’t contact apple.
