MacBook Air M1 Freezes Constantly

Why does my MacBook Air M1 2020 frequently freeze and won't respond to wake unless you hold down power button for more than 10 seconds? Happens at least once per week and have plenty of storage and OS is updated to latest release (Monterey 12.4). Did Apple produce a defective produce a defective product?

The latest Monterey version is 12.5. Try updating.
