i forgot my passcode to my iPhone. my iCloud is apt 2 years old, as i used only the free 5gb on the ac and didn't sign up for more data. i don't want to restore my iPhone as wld loose 2 years of pics / data when it restores fr my iCloud ac. any suggestions ?

I understand your situation. Restoring your iPhone does erase all things on your iPhone.
However, you can't access iPhone functions and apps unless you remember the passcode or restore your device. I suggest you list any possible codes and then try to use them to unlock your iPhone.
If it won't work still, then restore it.
BTW, don't believe any software which could restore the device without data loss.
