Lost apple watch

I lost my Apple Watch at the sea/beach, I have done everything required in find my iPhone and marked as lost, left for a week as I was on holiday! It has not shown up and must be lost in the water and tides have washed it away! The erase still says pending! But if it is lost at sea then it won’t be connected again! What do I do? Leave it as pending or remove the device? It is quite clear I am not going to get it back considering the location that it was lost at!

what should I do?? Help

please.

If the battery is dead there is no way that the erase can take place,if you remove the device and somebody finds it and it charges up again then they will be able to use it.

Those were all ifs and buts though,I would give it a few more days and if you haven't heard anything then I would remove the device,as like you said considering where it was lost I would tend to agree that it's probably now in apple watch heaven.
