Mac Mail using current - OS Monterey 12.5 - OS. Open mail, click on Inbox on left, select an email and click - highlighting it. BUT, the text of the message will not appear for several minutes. "Main pane" shows the heading of the email (from/to) but not the text of the email. Been happening for several months, as has the spinning pinwheel - may take 10-20 seconds for for a webpage to load. Mac is 2015 model: perhaps internals going bad with time?

There are several possibilities for this to occur;
1 - VPN connection
2 - Antivirus or Ad Guard install on the computer. Neither of the two are needed
3 - Apple Mail >> Preferences >> Privacy tab and refer to below image. Uncheck any or all three options

This seems like new behavior introduced within the last month or two. I'd like to be able to view emails without giving up my privacy.
Use a different e-Mail Client or perhaps open your Own Question with details of computer, what actions you have taken and expectations.
