I cannot delete emails

When I delete emails, they appear back immediately. What can I do?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 12.2

It seems issue with sync, so kindly check that your parent cloud mail is syncing properly like check for IMAP settings or other company email settings (Gmail, Yahoo, Exchange, etc.,)
