I use and love Silence Unknown Callers since I get a lot of junk calls all day. The problem? When the iPhone says it has silenced one, the alert stays on the screen. If I touch the alert, it calls the number. NOOO! I don't want to talk to them. That was the point! How can I make the forever alert go away?

According to View and respond to notifications on iPhone:
I never get an alert so it isn't an issue for me. I only get a red dot in Recents (and a red dot in voicemail if they left a voicemail). My Phone Notification settings are "Notification Center" for Alerts and also have Badges turned on.
You may not want those same options for other reasons.
Thanks! Swiping on it does it... it goes away. Touch it only and it calls the spammer back!
