512 SSD upgrade on base level MacBook Air M2 with 8 core cpu and 8 core CPU

There is an option to upgrade the SSD to 512 gb for the base level MacBook Air M2 with 8 cores of CPU and GPU.Can anyone tell me is it the same SSD configuration i.e. two slots of 256gb as used in higher configurations? If yes then the read/write issue will be addressed and make that additional expenditure fruitful.Any help in this matter will really help in my purchase decision!

If you're talking about modern Macs, the upgrade option is only available at time of purchase. Once the Mac is bought and in service, neither RAM, storage nor processor can be changed in any way.

There are no slots, the SSD, cpu and RAM are "soldered -in"; permanent parts of the logic board.
