Home Sharing Photos no longer works between PC and Apple TV 4

Already taken this step and like I said in my initial inquiry, this problem only just started recently. The issue is that even with Home Sharing turned on and my photo albums selected for sharing, when I open the Computer App on Apple TV and select Photos, the message I get says that no photos are available to view; whereas, both my music library and home video library populate immediately. Like I also said, I have already tried everything from going back in and unselecting photos from Home Sharing, then turning Home Sharing off, shutting down my PC and turning off my Apple TV, then turning everything back on, turning Home Sharing back on and reselecting photo albums to share... and still the same result with no photos showing on my Apple TV. Very frustrating and am thinking this may have started after installing the lates ITunes update.
